Hartford GYN Center

Hartford GYN Center is an abortion provider and advocacy organization with which NIRH partners from 2017-2020. Together, we worked along with Pro-Choice Connecticut and Health Equity Solutions on a range of initiatives to improve access to abortion care in Connecticut. One such initiative was to work at the city level in Hartford and in the Connecticut legislature to pass an ordinance to regulate the deceptive and harmful advertising tactics of anti-abortion pregnancy centers in Connecticut, resulting in passage of a Hartford ordinance in 2017 and laying the groundwork for a similar state law in 2021.
