NIRH and New America’s Open Technology Institute (OTI) are working to translate policy and technical developments into insights about how to best protect the privacy and security of abortion seekers and their data against governmental and commercial surveillance, weaponization, and exposure. NIRH will continue to support OTI in the creation of technical resource guides on data collection and digital security for allied organizations, as well as movement-aligned messaging and narrative framing on the intersection of reproductive health, rights, and justice and digital privacy.
