In January 2022, as we waited for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, we were deeply worried about the future of abortion access. In this event we discussed what state and local advocates and elected officials can do to push back and advance access to care.
Speakers included New York Attorney General Letitia James, Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty, NIRH President Andrea Miller, NIRH Action Fund Board Member Gabriela Lemus, and our partners from the Texas Equal Access Fund and the Cherry Hill Women’s Center in New Jersey.
