In 2019, NIRH partnered with All-Option, South Bend to host a Reproductive Health Bootcamps to educate key constituencies about the importance of access to high-quality abortion care. With support from NIRH, the bootcamp provided information to community members, local government officials, and religious leaders to destigmatize abortion and prepare them to become advocates for high quality, compassionate abortion care. This is particularly critical in South Bend, where a Whole Woman’s Health clinic faced unnecessary delays and hurdles as it awaited license approval by the Indiana State Department of Health to begin offering comprehensive reproductive health care.
