The Arizona Reproductive Justice Coalition came together in a particularly difficult year for abortion rights in the Arizona legislature, showing up to push back against anti-abortion bills in the legislature and focusing on skills building and training internally. Coming off NIRH Action Fund’s 2020 investment in message research and political program in Arizona, NIRH worked with the coalition to build expertise of its members, amplify the existing expertise in the group both internally and externally, and be prepared to push the proactive policy agenda they created during future legislative sessions. The proactive agenda for reproductive justice envisions a brighter, more just future for Arizona.
