In 2006, NIRH worked with NARAL Pro-Choice New Mexico to survey pharmacies across the state to determine the availability of emergency contraception (EC). They used this data to provide public education on EC availability and to lobby the state legislature for a memorial resolution studying the availability of EC statewide.
