NIRH partnered with New Voices for Reproductive Justice (New Voices) and Ohio Policy Evaluation Network (OPEN) at The Ohio State University (OSU) to investigate the effects of Ohio’s temporary six-week abortion ban on adverse pregnancy and health outcomes for those within the state, specifically for Black pregnancy-capable people. New Voices and OPEN at OSU entered a collaboration to conduct research on the ban, disseminate their findings to the wider public and stakeholders, and center the Black pregnant and birthing people most affected.
