NIRH is continuing our partnership with Whole Woman’s Health Alliance on a project focused on expanding abortion care coverage for individuals with publicly and privately funded health insurance plans in Virginia. WWHA will assess barriers in the state’s current public funding infrastructure and work with NIRH to analyze states with comparable political and policy landscapes. Together, we will use this analysis to develop and advance policy solutions that would expand insurance coverage in Virginia, organizing key stakeholders and communities in support of expanding abortion care coverage.
