Unjust Ruling

Last Wednesday Troy Davis was executed in a Georgia prison for a murder that happened 20 years ago. He was accused of killing a cop but there wasn’t any weapons found at the scene. During the trial several people linked Davis to the shooting but years later they took back their accusations. I think it’s crazy that in America we still have the death penalty. I don’t think it solves anything especially when the person is possibly being wrongly accused. Who knows how many innocent people we killed under the death penalty? The best thing for the country to do is to abolish it and give people that do crimes a second chance depending on what they have done. Give them a second chance or let them stay in prison for the rest of their life but don’t kill them. I wonder if “pro-life” people are anti-death penalty?
