Public University Emergency Contraception Act (A.6275)

Tampon Tax Repeal Bill (A. 7651)

Exempts feminine hygiene products from sales and compensating use taxes.

Comprehensive Sexuality Education

We’re a proud member of the New York State Council on Adolescent Pregnancy (NYSCAP) and supports comprehensive K-12 sexuality education for all New York students.

Minimum Wage

We’re a proud member of the “Raise the Wage” coalition and seeks a $15 minimum wage statewide in 2016.

Ensuring Insurance Coverage for Reproductive Health Care

The failure of Health Republic demonstrated how important it is for New York to continue to ensure access to comprehensive reproductive health care, including contraception, abortion, and sterilization. We suggest creating assurances that in the case of plan closure there are suitable substitution plans that include the full range of reproductive health care without cumbersome workarounds.
