Despite the ongoing escalation of anti-abortion legislation in Louisiana, the Louisiana Abortion Fund (LAF) and the Nancy Davis Foundation remain committed to advancing grassroots reproductive justice policy on the local and state levels. NIRH partnered with LAF and the Nancy Davis Foundation to support an in-person convening focused on criminalization and community advocacy. NIRH shared local policy training strategy, resources, and relationship-building expertise and collaborate on creative ways to advance policies while navigating Louisiana’s challenging political landscape.
