Despite the ongoing escalation of anti-abortion legislation in Louisiana, the Louisiana Abortion Fund (LAF) and the Nancy Davis Foundation remain committed to advancing grassroots reproductive justice policy on the local and state levels. NIRH is partnering with LAF and the Nancy Davis Foundation to support their development of a city-wide reproductive justice coalition and reproductive justice policy agenda, both led by and serving community members most impacted by economic and racial barriers to abortion and birth justice. NIRH will share local policy training strategy, resources, and relationship-building expertise and collaborate on creative ways to advance policies while navigating Louisiana’s challenging political landscape.
