In 2013, NIRH supported the Institute for Women and Ethnic Studies in educating youth, adult stakeholders, and New Orleans residents about comprehensive sex education. The Institute for Women and Ethnic Studies also developed advocacy curricula and began efforts to evaluate implementation in various charter school networks.
