Multi-media Content Creator

As part of the Communications Team, reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, the Multimedia Content Creator (MCC) will develop and curate graphic design, photography, and video content necessary to amplify NIRH campaigns, messaging, and brand identity. Additionally, this role supports managing NIRH/NIRH Action Funds social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

The National Institute for Reproductive Health (NIRH) and the National Institute for Reproductive Health Action Fund (NIRH Action Fund), advocacy groups that fight for just and equitable access to reproductive health care, are seeking a full-time Multi-media Content Creator to directly support its communications department.

This is a benefits eligible, full-time, non-exempt position that will require 35 hours of work, with flexibility, during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM. The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 and $67,000, commensurate with experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 
Manage social media accounts, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn including, creating engaging content, and maintaining a social media calendar.
Creating NIRH branded graphics and videos for multi-platform use.
Occasionally design assets for other projects including but not limited to reports and events for NIRH/AF.
Support strategies that cultivate NIRH’s online voice, ensuring it is aligned with NIRH’s unique approach to protecting and expanding reproductive freedom across the country.
Contribute to building a strong and collaborative team culture grounded in racial equity and inclusion.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Two to four years professional experience in graphic design, online communications, or social media management, preferably in an advocacy or campaign setting.
Deep commitment to social, reproductive, and racial justice.Demonstrated ability to create content that is thoughtful, intentional, and compelling, across multiple platforms.
Must be highly Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver) and Canva.
High level of creativity and strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
Formal degree or training in graphic design and/or multi-media content creation is preferred, but not required.
