Expanding Abortion Access

Every person should have access to abortion care in their own community without shame, punishment, or intimidation.

NIRH is working in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Texas to ensure state and local governments adequately resource abortion providers and funds. Abortion funds and providers are the first responders managing the post-Roe crisis. We will continue advocating for supportive policies that ensure they remain sustainable.

Cost has always been one of the greatest barriers to equitable access to abortion care, even before the Supreme Court overturned Roe. NIRH is working to ensure that states and cities are prioritizing abortion access by funding care for all those who need it.
